2. Clear Timelines and Due Dates. Students need clear and well-defined timelines and due dates to stay on track and manage their time effectively. Provide a detailed course schedule that outlines the sequence of topics, assignments, and assessments. Make sure to include important dates such as exam dates and project deadlines. 
3. Humanizing the Course. Creating a sense of connection and community is essential for fostering student engagement. Share a bit about yourself, background, and passion for the subject matter. Encourage students to introduce themselves and get to know each other. Use warm and inviting language and make yourself available for questions and discussions.
